Each serves you well, but when it comes to conducting business and developing the relationships that will grow your business…which do you rely on most heavily?
In the past few months, most of my new clients have had issues that centered around effective networking and follow-up. So you can thank them for my next series of postings.
When we market our services, we get very caught up in the numbers game. How many cards can we give out? How many cards can we collect? How many emails, flyers, etc. can we get into the hands of the public, because we all feel that EVERYONE needs what we offer.
Consider this…
First, no one likes to be “sold”!

This week I had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion “Re-Inventing yourself in a recession”.
One action item I suggested to the group is to identify your core values – those things that mean the most to you. Zoning in on what is actually true and important for you is “key” to finding happiness in what you ultimately decide to do in your life and career or business.
What do you want to surround yourself with? What kind of people? What brings you true joy? Not the quick fix of material things, but what makes you heart sing.
Baking the perfect cake? Creating something? Service to others? Consider your deepest dreams and give them life by posting them here.
Your comment may be just the inspiration someone needs.
We will explore this further in future posts.
Love your life.

Whether you have a corporate gig or own your own business…you have to find your fun. A long time ago I was mentoring a new sales rep (Hi April) and she was feeling very overwhelmed. “I don’t know if I can do this” she said to me. My advice to her was: “If you can’t laugh at it, leave it alone”.
I try to find the fun or humor in most situations, and sometimes the joke is me! One of my stunts was to put my wig on my computer when I was fed up. Oh yes I did!
I’ve had jobs with Beer Fridays, watergun fights, the list is long and varied.
Share your ideas on how to insert FUN into your workday!
